Sebnem Karasu Joins Purity-IQ as Ingredients Specialist

Sebnem, an ingredients specialist and food technology industry leader, advises Purity-IQ’s business development team. With 25 years of global corporate and private food industry experience, she is based in Chicago. Sebnem holds a degree in Food Engineering and an MSc in Biotechnology, specializing in spice industry business development, supply chain management, dried ingredient sterilization systems, food safety management systems, GFSI standards, and FDA regulations. For over two decades, she has been a member of the American Spice Trade Association and is a member of the Institute of Food Technologists. She is also the Chicago Section IFT Chair-Elect and part of the Chicagoland Food and Beverage Network.
